    About uRummage

    What is uRummage?

    uRummage was created to give individuals and businesses the ability to advertise and search for all types of rummage sales. uRummage users can post information about their upcoming sale or search for sales of their interest. Finally, a website on the internet dedicated solely for rummage sales.

    What kind of sales do you list on uRummage?

    You can list auctions, children’s items, comic book shows, craft fairs, estate sales, flea markets, furniture sales, garage sales, liquidation sales, moving sales, rummage sales, sports card sales, tag sales and any other types of sales you can imagine.

    Who would use uRummage?

    Individuals and businesses come to uRummage to advertise and search for information on all types of rummage sales. Click here to register.

    When was uRummage formed?

    uRummage was formed in 2002 by FES Associates LLC in an effort to create a website for rummage sales across the United States.

    Are you related to any other company on the internet?

    No. uRummage is not affiliated, related or owned by any other company on the internet. We are solely owned and operated by FES Associates LLC.

    New Users Getting Started

    How do I open an account at uRummage?

    To open a free account with uRummage, click on the login button at the top of the page and then click the register button. This will allow you to create an account so that you can post a sale, maintain a rummage list, set up e-mail alerts and perform other activities.

    Is there a fee to set up an account?

    No. You can open an account at uRummage for free.

    Who can post sales on uRummage?

    Individuals and businesses that are uRummage members post their sales to advertise on the internet.

    Do I have to post a sale to maintain an account?

    No. Open your free account today to search for sales, create a rummage sale list, receive E-Mail Alerts and other activities.

    Posting a Sale

    How do I post a sale on uRummage?

    To post a sale on uRummage you have to be logged into your account. Once logged in, click on the post sale button and fill out the necessary information to post a sale.

    What does a sale look like once it is posted on uRummage?

    Can I edit my sale after I post it on uRummage?

    Yes. You have the ability to edit your active sale after it is paid for and posted on uRummage. Once you are logged in and viewing the sale postings page you can edit your sale posting by clicking on the name of sale hyper link.

    How long does my sale posting stay active on uRummage?

    Your sale will run for 30 days or up to the date of your sale, whichever comes first. You also have the ability to permanently delete your sale while logged into your account on the sale postings page. Once you delete a sale whether active, expired or not active your sale will be deleted from uRummage permanently. A refund will not be given if you delete your sale posting by accident. You are responsible for maintaining your sale postings

    Can I post pictures with my sale?

    Yes. You can post up to 4 color photos with your sale posting.

    Will my e-mail address display on my sale page so visitors can contact me?

    When posting a sale you will be asked if you would like your e-mail address listed. If you answer yes your e-mail address will be listed in the sale details of your sale page.

    Will the address of my sale appear in my sale details?

    The address you supply when posting a sale will display in the sale details of your posting.

    Is there a fee to post a sale?

    It is free to post a sale on uRummage. Posting a sale on uRummage will allow visitors and users to view the details of the sale you are having. Members that sign up for e-mail notifications will be alerted via e-mail resulting in maximum exposure of your sale.

    Can I list multiple sales?

    You can list as many sales as you would like on uRummage. Each sale that is posted is free. Just fill out the necessary information on the Post Sale page.

    What if I do not see my city listed in the city box?

    E-mail us at customerservice@urummage.com and we will add your city to uRummage so you can post your sale using the correct city.

    Do you have any signs I can download and use to advertise my sale?

    Yes. In our resource center you can click on download sign to download a sign to advertise your sale.

    What sales are prohibited to post on uRummage?

    How do I determine the status of my sale?

    You can determine the status of you sale by viewing the sale postings page while you are logged into your account. The status column will tell you what status your sale is in. Your sale could be:

    1. Active: Your sale is represented on uRummage and has not ended.
    2. Expired: Your sale date has occurred or you sale has been active on uRummage for 30 days.
    3. Not Active: You inputted the necessary information for your sale but you have not paid for your posting.


    Searching for a Sale

    How do I search for a sale?

    You can search for sales using the advanced search feature. Using the advanced search gives you the ability to enter key word(s), multiple cities, state or zip code to narrow your sale search. You also have the option to use one of the pre-formed searches on the home page.

    Can I use key words to search for a sale?

    Yes. You can use key words when using the advanced search.

    What are E-Mail Alerts?

    E-Mail Alerts is a service uRummage offers all members to keep up with the latest postings. E-Mail Alerts will notify you automatically via e-mail if there are new postings on uRummage that meet your criteria. You set the criteria for your alert and when a sale is posted that meets your specifications, a message will be sent to your e-mail account.

    Are there any fees to receive E-Mail Alerts?

    No. There are no fees to receive e-mail alerts.

    How do I cancel my E-Mail Alerts?

    You can cancel receiving your e-mail alerts by logging into your account and pressing cancel on the E-Mail Alerts page.

    Do I have to receive E-Mail Alerts?

    No. Receiving E-Mail Alerts is optional.

    Account maintenance

    How do I change my password?

    Once you log into your account, visit the account maintenance page to change your password. You will have to input your existing password and your new password. Once you are finished entering the necessary information you will have to press the save button to save your changes.

    What if I forget my password?

    If you forget your password you will be asked the answers to the two security questions that you picked when you registered. Just input your e-mail address and press the forgot password link to answer your two security questions. Your password will be sent to your e-mail account after you correctly answer your two security questions.

    Can I choose the same security question?

    No. You have to choose two different security questions.

    How many characters does my password have to be?

    Your password has to be at least 3 characters long and is case sensitive.

    How do I change my e-mail address?

    Once you log into your account, visit the account maintenance page to change your e-mail address. Once you are finished entering the necessary information you will have to press the save button to save your changes.

    Once you log into your account, visit the account maintenance page to change your address. Once you are finished entering the necessary information you will have to press the save button to save your changes.
